PROTEGOL® Coatings – Reliable long-term protection for oil and gas lines
PROTEGOL® two component coatings based on polyurethane and epoxy resins provide passive corrosion protection for many different applications in the oil and gas industry. Our core competence is the development and supply of dependable permanent coating solutions for underground oil and gas supply pipelines, segments and elbows, moulded parts and valves.
The PROTEGOL® Coatings oil and gas portfolio comprises solvent-free polyurethane and epoxy resin coatings, which have been tried and tested for decades and meet the standards DIN EN 10290 and DIN EN 10289 for steel pipes and moulded parts for onshore and offshore pipelines.
The products are characterised by fast curing and are very suitable for coating idle lines, e.g. during renovations. Uneconomical downtimes are minimised since the pipeline can be re-commissioned and re-buried very soon.
For weldseam coating requirements, a special PU-based product meeting DIN EN ISO 21809-3 and providing compatibility with PE, PP or FBE factory-coating has been developed.
Our friction-reducing PROTEGOL® Flowcoats for gas lining purposes have been certified in accordance with the internationally reknown standards DIN EN 10311 and API RP 5L2.
Applying the products with airless hot spraying equipment makes for a fast and controlled coating both in field and plant. PROTEGOL® Coatings are applied in one step without priming.
