In agriculture, zinc chloride and zinc nitrate are used as a fertilizer. Zinc increases protein synthesis and promotes plant growth. Moreover, it increases the resistance of plants to drought. Zinc chloride is also a major component of antimycotic compounds. Zinc carbonate and Zinc Acetate can be used as a feedstock supplement.
